George is a thoroughbred race horse owner, bloodstock agent, racing manager, and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Thoroughbred Association . He is a multiple generation horseman as racing has ran in his family for many generations. George's parent's actually met on a non pari-mutual race track in Colleyville, Texas where his grandfather was a small time gangster and bookie and he introduced his daughter (George's mother) to a young hot shot jockey (George's father) for racing information. 9 months later George pops out slinging tip sheets. Ryan grew up around horses and racing. His grandfather raced quarter horses. He started racing motocross at the age of 11 and turned pro in high school. After his racing career was done, he became an Independent Financial Advisor. To replace the thrills of racing motocross and supercross, he turned to horse racing as a hobby. Being a numbers guy, he has always enjoyed the handicapping process, looking at odds, and getting a good return on a bet! You just can’t beat the combination of winning money on a thrilling horse race!
The first real wager he ever made was on the 2010 Kentucky Derby. He bet a 5 horse, $1 trifecta box that cost him $60 and that trifecta hit for a little over $1,100 and I was instantly hooked on handicapping! He continued to learn the process and develop his own system for betting the Kentucky Derby every year. Two years later, his system paid off when he hit the $1 superfecta on the 2012 Kentucky Derby for just over $48,000.
